19th April 2020 - Rental Scam
On 19th April 2020, telephone number +46701941578 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Dr. Diana Kadetoff using email address drdianakadetoff03@gmail.com as part of a Rental Scam.
Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
I want to inform you that I have already sent your details to Renthome Insurance Company. I attached to this email a copy of my passport. My Whatsapp number: +46701941578
Renthome Insurance have just confirmed that the payment invoice have been already sent to you.
When you complete the payment use the agent name of the account holder provided in the booking invoice and rental agreement...don`t use other words like Renthome Insurance, Rent, etc.
Please write only the reference number "LR7304SP" at the payment details in order for the company to process it almost automatically they told me (I know this from previous experiences with other clients), else, the transaction will last even 5-10 days longer in which case I'll have to pay extra €45 per day in fees and I REALLY want to avoid that. So, please, when you go to the bank simply write "LR7304SP" at the payment details on your send money document that you will fill in at your bank or online that could be called "payment details" or "reason for sending money" or anything similar to that. So, please, write that code. This is very important...write nothing else.
So, one more thing...please check your Spam/Junk folder of the email as well, maybe you will receive the Renthome Insurance email there, as I've received one of their emails in the spam folder.
Also this invoice is available only 24 hours if the payment isn't done in 24 hours our deal is down.
Please tell me when you can transfer the payment?
