19th November 2022 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 19th November 2022, telephone number +448716980365 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Sir Tom Scholar using email address discoveryunithmtreasure33@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

This is to inform you that we have received a request to process a recovered funds £50.5M (FIFTY MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND GREAT BRITAIN POUNDS) which is entitled to as the beneficiary.

Please find the attached claim form, you are required to complete the form and send it back to us for processing. Send the completed claim form along with a copy of your Proof of Identity such as a copy of your ID, Passport or Drivers Licence.

Once we receive the completed claim form, we will verify it and if everything is ok, we will submit the claim form to the bank for the transfer of your fund.
