21st October 2021 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 21st October 2021, telephone number +27634892879 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Nicolas Jones working for First National Bank using email address fnbremittancedepat@financier.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Greetings and thanks for your response, I am very happy that you are ready to assist me. I will like you to know that I have discussed with the bank director, who will lease with their bank attorney concerning the transfer of the money to you. The banker said that they need to hear from you first, so that they can explain the transfer procedure to you directly. Please see below the contact of the bank. I want you to contact the banker immediately you receive this email and also promise me one thing, that you will keep this transaction confidential for the successful proceeds , I have discussed with the banker about you as the new beneficiary to be of the fund.
