5th September 2024 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 5th September 2024, telephone number +2349068387985 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Prof. Noah Amadi using email address amadinoah@ymail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

This letter is a formal agreement between the Nigerian Police, Zenith Bank, Apex Bank and you for the re-issuance and remittance of funds.

Zenith Bank has agreed to re-issue the funds. This will cost $300 plus another $200 for remittance analysis fee, totalling $500. You must pay this $500 to Zenith Bank.

Once Zenith Bank receives the sum of $500 from you, the bank is obliged to credit the funds to your home account without any further delay or condition. Under no circumstances will Zenith Bank not credit the funds to your account upon receipt of this payment.

Furthermore, we confirm that this is the final payment required from you and no further charges or fees will be charged after this transaction.
