13th October 2023 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 13th October 2023, telephone number +2349020148912 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Bolaji Owasanoye using email address secicpc@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

I am a member of the Nigerian independent corrupt practice commission
(ICPC) an organized government agency in charge of fighting internet
fraud and scam related issues.I was mandated by the new Nigerian
president (Bola Ahmed Tinub) after his speech at The 78th United
Nations General Assembly meeting held from (19 to 26.09.2023) in
which This year theme for the debate was to Accelerating action
towards Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity with our
foreign contractor who are victims of scams

we sincerely apologize with regards to the high level of mental
trauma caused by those unscrupulous element who defrauded you, I know
that such an unpredictable emotions and strained relationships are
difficult to forget.. I am promising you peace of mind and complete
healing from Emotional and Psychological Trauma if you are willing to
comply.

Currently we are working on your contract/ inheritance funds
transfer digital certificate electronic system that proves the
authenticity of your claim and amount involved,
please you are required to forward to us your complete details
such as your phone number whatsapp number to be precise, your address
etc, exact contract amount you are expecting to receive is of great
important for your reconfirmation and to assist ascertain the True
Copy and notarized copy of your original digital/electronic Certified
transfer document that will guarantee the urgent and immediate release
of your fund.
