16th December 2021 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 16th December 2021, telephone number +2348163096733 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Rodrigo Santiago working for Keystone Bank Limited using email address sammrrodrigo@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Attention to whom it may concern,

Please be informed that we have just received one Mr. David Thompson
who said he is your family Lawyer this morning in our branch office
here in Lagos. For the payment a rescue team has been formed.

He made a requested that you directed him to pick up your ATM VISA
CARD Issued by Keystone Bank Limited with the PIN CODE for full
ACTIVATION immediately.

As soon as we get confirmations from you the ATM VISA CARD will be
activated and handed over to him with the PIN CODE. He has also
confirm to us that you gave him the activation fee of $250 dollars to
pay on your behalf, and pick up your ATM VISA CARD immediately.

If the claim of Mr. David Thompson is false, please would you forward
your details for the activation and delivery of the VISA CARD to you
as stated bellow. But in the other way round, if is right, no need of
disturbing yourself, we are going to take the $250 activation fee from
him and activate the ATM VISA CARD, then handed it over to him.

You are advised to reconfirm the details below if the claim of Mr.
