On 23rd January 2022, telephone number +2348131364116 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Lamin Barrow working for African Development Bank Group using email address payinfo32@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Attention:

This notice is coming to you from African Development Bank.

This is to inform you that we received a standing instruction from the
Office of the Presidency to release your Contract payment of
US$8,200,000.00 to you within 72hours as soon as all charges are
deducted.

Prior to the above-mentioned, you are only required to make a payment
of US$450.00 for the deduction fee. The deduction fee of US$450.00
will enable this bank to obtain an Affidavit and stamp duties from the
High Court of Nigeria, which will legally permit this bank to deduct
all charges and prepare your contract payment certificate. With this
said, you will not pay any other charges or fees.

Upon confirmation of the deduction fee of $450, the bank shall deduct
all fees/charges and additional dues amount as specified on your
payment file. Please be informed that we have limited time to release
your contract payment, we look forward to your immediate action.

On 14th September 2021, telephone number +2348131364116 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Rev. Fr. Godwin Goni using email address k82it28@aol.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.

efforts to help me claim the money were not forgotten, a sum of $2
million was made out in your favor in (BANK DRAFT OR ATM CARD) for
your compensation. I left instructions with Rev. Fr. Godwin Goni who
is my spiritual counselor, Call or email him immediately via the
contact details below and remember to reconfirm your personal
information to him for quick verification.
