4th February 2018 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 4th February 2018, telephone number +2348079237289 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Ijeoma Okechukwu using email address ij.okechukwu@yahoo.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Due to your past effort, sincerity, courage you showed in the course of the transaction I want to compensate you and show my gratitude to you with the sum of US$550,000 ( Five Hundred fifty thousand United States Of America Dollars) via ATM DEBIT CARD. I have authorized my Bank to issue an ATM CARD via my Personal Assistance who will make necessary arrangement with you and send it as soon you contact him.My dear friend, all you need to do at the receipt of this notice is to contact him in Nigeria to arrange on how to make the ATM CARD available to you on my behalf.
