24th May 2023 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 24th May 2023, telephone number +233550162755 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be John Awini Akudibilla using email address fsbfinancier@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Sir.

We hereby inform all foreign beneficiaries who have not received their fund payment since 2015 tell date must apply for their fund release with immediate effect because under the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreement, we must pay them their fund before the IMF can grant our application of loan that we have applied for since last year, now we are mandated to Pay all foreign beneficiaries their money as Ghana has been chosen as the payment center for all the West African sub-region. That means if your fund payment is from a West African sub-region, your payment should be made in Ghana as the center for your fund payment. Also, I will monitor everything to report back to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as indicated.

Therefore, you must provide us with the following information:

(2) Your full name and address
(3) Your ID
(4) Your phone number
(5) The name of the country your money payment originates from.
