On 1st July 2019, telephone number +233550105365 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Martial Grant using email address martialgrant40@outlook.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
My name is Martial Grant the only son of late Mr Grant Mensah,from Western Region Ghana, two months ago i have a call from a security company that my late father of blessed memory deposited Eight million five hundred thousand USD ($8,500,000.00USD) that if i come of age twenty five years i should be inform of it,i was very happy about it because things are not going well with me and my mother. There was an agreement because my father didn't trust any of his family person let alone an African, he directed that i should get a foreign beneficiary to help me to move the funds to his country for investment.
So i am pleading please help me and my mother move the consignment to your country for any good investment please, me and my mother has agreed to give 20% of the money to you as compensation so please in the name of God help us and we will never forget you in our life.
And also my mother has talk to one UN diplomat who has agreed to help to deliver to your doorstep as soon as you agree to help us so i await your response so i can give you the information.
