28th April 2022 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 28th April 2022, telephone number +233272853783 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Clifford Osei working as Chief Operating Officer for UniBank using email address g.unibank@yahoo.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

ATTN Dear Sir/Madam

This is to officially inform you that we have verified your contract file presently on my desk, and I found out that you have not received your £ 17.5 Million payment due to your lack of cooperation and not fulfilling the obligations giving to you in respect to your contract payment.Secondly, you are hereby advice to stop dealing with some non-officials in the bank as this is an illegal act and will have to stop if you so wish to receive your payment immediately.

After the board meeting held at our headquarters, we have resolved in finding a solution to your problem, and as you may know, we have arranged your payment through our SWIFT CARD PAYMENT CENTER in Europe, America,Africa and Asia Pacific, which is the instruction given by our president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo) The president of the Republic of Ghana.

This card center will send you an ATM CARD which you will use to withdraw your money in an ATM MACHINE in any part of the world, but the maximum is (£15,000.00) Thousand Pounds per transaction.And the Amount that is going to be in the card is £ 17.5 Million Pounds , So, if you like to receive your fund this way,reply to this office immediately for the issuing of your (ATM)CARD.
