26th June 2018 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 26th June 2018, telephone number +233231383264 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Olu Wilson using email address fedxcourier2014@outlook.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
Greetings!
I have been waiting for you since to contact me for your Confirmable Bank
Draft of $850,000.00 but I did not hear from you since that time.
Then I went and deposited the Draft with FedEx Delivery, West Africa, I
traveled out of the country for a 6 Months Course and I will not come back
till end of December.

What you have to do now is to contact the FedEx Delivery as soon as
possible to know when they will deliver your package to you because of the
expiring date.For your information, I have paid for the delivery

your Draft direct to your postal Address in your country is (170 Euro)
only being Security Keeping Fee of the Delivery Company so far.
Again, don't be deceived by anybody to pay money except 170 Euro.I am on a
course in which they will not be able to contact me for the payment.
You have to contact the FedEx Delivery service now for the delivery of
your Draft with this information below;
