On 5th November 2022, telephone number +22966154603 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be William Butler using email address barrwilliambutler349@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

My Dear friend.

It is my pleasure to reach you after our unsuccessful attempt on our business transaction. Well, I just want to use this medium to thank you very much for your earlier assistance to help me in receiving the funds. I am obliged to inform you that I have succeeded in receiving the funds with the help of a new partner from India Fernando Arjun.I couldn't explain why you stopped communicating with me, and that prompted me to source for another help and Fernando came to my aid and everything was perfectly done.

Fernando Arjun came to Benin republic when he noticed how bad my health was, i thank God for him and for my life today. However, In appreciation of your earlier assistance to me in receiving the funds, I have decided to compensate you with the sum of $555,000.00 (Five hundred and fifty five Thousand dollars) in a Visa Card. I did this simply to show appreciation to you for your kind support and assistance .After the successful transfer, I left for India with Fernando because he said a lot of good hospitals for cancer in India cure this sort of illness. Presently,I am in New Delhi India for the charity organization project and also to undergo treatment.

Meanwhile.I will be sending you mails to know if you have received your Visa Card, but i may be inconsistent in writing to you because of time and the treatment i am undergoing . In the light of the above, you are therefore, to contact the Courier services office where i keep the Visa Card for delivery, send to them your contact address where you want the Card to be sent
