On 19th August 2020, telephone number +22961985877 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Dr. David Burton using email address burtondavid005@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.

In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

because the bank has mandated me to present to them the next of kin to
enable them start the legal process for the transfer of this fund to
your bank account.

On 1st November 2019, telephone number +22961985877 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Mr G using email address davidburton143@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.

Your name appeared among the beneficiaries who will receive a part-payment of the sum of $4.5Million USD to you, Credited to Online Bank ATM Card account that was set up for you in World Bank and it has been approved already months ago.

However we received an email from one (MR. BRIGHT HOFFMAN) who told us That he is your next of kin and that you died in a car accident last four months back. He has also submitted his contact information's to the office department for the delivery of your ATM Card to him as your inheritor.
