9th January 2021 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 9th January 2021, telephone number +22573320327 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be David Elvis using email address daveli2011@outlook.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Dearest Sir

Thank you so much for your interest in my investment proposal, you can invest the money in any project that is good. As i explained in my previous message, I am David Elvis from Ivory Coast.

you can trust me with anything as I am trusting you to receive my inheritance fund for investment and to assist me continue my education.

I applied to start receiving this fund, but bank informed me that their agreement with my late father was that the fund should be transferred to overseas for investment and they require me to present somebody who will receive the fund so that they will transfer the money to his account, and this was my main reason of contacting you so that you will stand as my late father's foreign trustee to receive the money for investment in your country.

I will be happy when you will reply to me to send your information as your telephone numbers and addresses so that I will authorize the bank to make the transfer to your account. You will be the coordinator of the investment in your country and immediately you receive the money in your account, you will arrange for me to fly and meet you in your country or you make an urgent trip down here for us to meet face to face and together we travel back.

I chose you with trust and confidence and will rely on your guidance . Please get back to me with your telephone number and home address for us to proceed with the transaction, because I have to draft Authorization Letter on your behalf as my late father's foreign trustee/beneficiary, and after drafting the
authorization letter on your behalf, I will sign it and then submit to the bank so that bank will recognize you as my trustee and start with the transfer process of the fund into your account which you will nominate to receive the fund. I have also attached the documents of the fund.
