13th March 2023 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 13th March 2023, telephone number +221704512689 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Gabriel Wilson working for Trust Finance BankOffshore using email address bankcustomerserivce@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

I know it's been a long time since we stopped communicating, but I was never really going to forget you, because of the incredible efforts you made to help me secure my money when I was in the war zone. I was released from military service and now live in Austria with my new husband who used his account at UBA bank to get the money safely. I think it would be an act of kindness if I did not share this good news with you, so I take this opportunity to appreciate your kindness and the love you have shown me in these critical days on the war fronts .

I swore to myself that I would never forget you or leave you empty-handed after my success and so I decided to compensate you with two hundred and fifty thousand US Dollars ($250,000,000) on a Visa UBA credit card. Please accept this as a token of my gratitude for the help you have given me over time, even if it has not been successful.

Please contact the Trust Finance Bank customer service to draw the attention of the Head of the Bank as detailed below, so that you receive the credit card and use it to withdraw money from any ATM center near you. You will need to confirm your identity and address before the bank can identify you as the real beneficiary of the UBA Visa card and release it for use.
