18th February 2021 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 18th February 2021, telephone number +221703159971 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Evan Alexandre using email address barrevanalexandre83@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
My dear,
how are you? This is the Barrister in Senegal Contact as i told you that i made good arrangements to assist us and i have also directed him to the bank transfer department manager. the Barrister will go to the bank and register your name and information as my beneficiary.

After processing the ATM VISA CARD in the bank I will communicate with the bank ATM VISA CARD transfer department Manager to issue the ATM VISA CARD to Barrister Evan Alexandre so that he can post it to my beneficiary. Immediately Barrister receives the ATM VISA CARD he will post it to you in your country address through the DHL post office. The total amount is $875,000,00 USD. (Eight Hundred And Seventy Five Thousand United State Dollars)

As soon as you receive the ATM VISA CARD in your country i will send you the secret CODE NUMBER to start withdrawing the money and banking it in your bank account until i come over to your country for the Investment project. I would like you to follow my instruction and the Barrister's direction so that you will receive the ATM VISA CARD peacefully. please contact the Lawyer with the information below.
