2nd August 2021 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 2nd August 2021, telephone number +12097294849 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Fasier Mnvolly using email address mrfasiermnvolly@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
I am the Inspection Officer and Agent in JFK International Airport NY.

During my inspection at the warehouse, I discovered an abandoned
shipment from a United Nation Diplomat and when scanned it revealed an
undisclosed sum of money in a Metal Trunk Box weighing approximately
160 kg each. The consignment was abandoned because the Content was not
properly declared by the Diplomat as currency/money rather it was
declared as personal effect to avoid customs checking and arrest by
the Shipping Agent and also the Diplomat inability to pay for Non
Inspection Clearance Tax Charge.

On my assignment duty, I found out that each of the boxes contain more
than $US3M to $US4M each and the consignment is still left in storage
house till today as unclaimed. The Consignment are two metal box with
weight of about 160kg each (Internal dimension: W61 x H156 x D73 (cm).

The details of the Consignment Delivery Destination Shipment Airway
Bill includes your name in the official document from United Nation
office.
