9th May 2019 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 9th May 2019, telephone number +12026307128 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Harry Brown using email address msbrown20115@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Dear Beneficiary,

After proper and several investigations and research at Western Union and
Money Gram Office, we found your email in Western Union database among those
that have sent money through Western Union/Moneygram and this proves that you have truly been swindled by those unscrupulous persons by sending money to them
through Western Union/Money Gram in the course of getting one fund that is not real.

In this regard a meeting was held between the Board of Directors of WESTERN
UNION, MONEYGRAM, the FBI alongside with the Ministry of Finance and Homeland Security As a consequence of our investigations it was agreed that you should be compensated with the sum of
Six Million Eight Hundred United States Dollars (U.S.6,800.000.000) to start an Investment. The United States Department of the Treasury has set aside as compensation payment for scam victims.

This case would be handled and supervised by the FBI. We have submitted your
details to them so that your funds can be sent to you. Contact the
