Domestic pet Carrier. info@domesticpetcarriers.com. 785-3630054, exactly the same site and phone number + alicebendex@gmail.com this email.

I looked for hyacinth macaws in August, 2015, and left my information online. Someone contacted me by email in the end of September, 2015 and mentioned they had 2 hyacinth macaws for adoption. At first, "she" asked for $2000. I said I didn't have the money. "She" then told me she and her husband would give them to me for free because they knew I was an animal lover. I gave her my address and phone number as she asked. Not long after, she told me she already had them delivered (she told me they were in England for a project). I then received an email from some kind of pet delivery company to ask for delivery and animal check-up fees 450 pounds. They told me that once I paid it, they would immediately activate the flight to deliver the two macaws from UK to Canada. As they suggested, I transfered my money through Western Union. However, I suddenly felt weird about the whole situation and I called Western Union to cancel my money transfer. I was lucky I canceled it before they picked up the money. I was suspicous but still not certain if it was a scam. I emailed her to ask the delivery company to email me a formal bill with the comany name, address, phone number and business registration number or I wouldn't pay. She pretended she didn't know anything about it. She was mad that her poor birds needed to stay at the company alone. We had a bad conversation through emails. A week later, her 'husband' contaced me with the same email address. 'He" apologized for the rudeness of his wife. "He" offered to deliver the macaws to me again. He didn't do it right away because he was away in Africa for another project. (Everything sounded so real then.) After he came back from 'Africa", he emailed me and told me he already had the two macaws delivered. He gave me a tracking number and the website listed above. I went to the website and put in the tracking number. Other than the clear and detailed information of the objects (two birds), the sender and the receiver (me),it said I had $1200 CD pending fee to pay. Once I paid it, the flight would be activated right away. The same shit. I emailed "him" and told him that I would not pay a cent until I saw the birds at my door. Then I looked up the number and websit. Now ...everything is clear.

Hi Eva, welcome to Scamnumbers and thanks for posting.

Please get your pet local and actually physically view them before paying anything. Not only will you avoid this type of scam, but you will also see the pets and make sure that they are healthy and have a good temprement.

That's a very good suggestion for everybody. I didn't know they were so far away until the end when they asked for my address.
