The SRA has been informed that emails have been sent which fraudulently claim to be from "Karl Post, Conveyancer" at "Dean Wilson LLP". The emails claim to attach contract documentation.
The email the SRA has seen has been sent using the email address "shay.boyle@googlemail.com". The email states the address of the firm as 96 Church Street, Brighton BN1 1UJ, the telephone number of the firm +44 (0) 1273 247245, the fax number +44 (0) 1273 298699 and provides an email address of "karlpost@deanwilson.co.uk".
Any business or transactions using the email addresses "shay.boyle@googlemail.com" , "karlpost@deanwilson.co.uk", or telephone number +44 (0) 1273 247245 or fax number +44 (0) 1273 298699 are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
