I also agree with you this is definitely a SCAM. I was in contact via email with someone by the name of "Emma Turner" who has an ad posted on offerup.com trying to sell a car for the amount of $1500.00. After sending emails back and forth for almost an hour, I then became suspicious of what it is that she wanted me to do as far as sending the money to her on behalf of
"Ebay Motors" via Moneygram. After looking up all the required information that I was given as far as her address and phone number for Ebay Motors this is what I happen to stumble upon listed here below!

Jackson, MS 39209 is fake!!! The address is in fact a real address in that area, but there is no Emma Turner listed as being a resident at this address! And no search results came up when I Googled the email address, which means it is fake!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL OUT THERE WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING ANY ONLINE PURCHASES!!!! AND BE CAREFUL WITH THESE SO CALLED INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE SCAMMING MANY PEOPLE OUT OF LARGE LUMP SUMS OF MONEY!!!!!!!
