From the WhoIs for amssolicitor.co.uk:Letters have been sent misusing the name of a genuine solicitor in relation to inheritance monies. The letter proposes that the individual being contacted has a similar surname to that of their client and wishes for them to claim the inheritance which will then be split 50/50 between the solicitor and the individual.
The letter misuses the name and postal address of a genuine solicitor (see below). It also provides a false email address "andmstokes@gmail.com", a false telephone number "01144(117)3254870" and a false fax number "01144(203)0311093".
A website has also been set up misusing the name of a genuine solicitor – www.amssolicitor.co.uk. This website lists a Mr Angus Pintaric and a Ms Jacqueline Rutland as attorneys.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate any individuals by the name of Angus Pintaric or Jacqueline Rutland.
Any business or transactions through the email address, telephone number, fax number, website or names listed above are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
