The website "www.goldbartllp.com" is operating, and falsely claiming to be for a law firm called "Goldbart & Partners (UK) LLP", with offices in Manchester and London.
The website provides postal addresses for "Goldbart & Partners (UK) LLP" of "3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields, Manchester, M3 3EB" and "1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5AB". The website provides a general email address of info@goldbartllp.com and telephone numbers of "+44 778-343-0694" and "+44 207 060 0589".
The website also currently lists six supposed partners or solicitors. Only one of the names used is the same as a genuine solicitor of England & Wales (see below).
In addition, a letter has been sent to a member of the public from a person claiming to be "Richard Goldbart" of "Goldbart & Partners (UK) LLP". The SRA understands that the letter is regarding a supposed inheritance from a deceased client with the same surname as the recipient, with "Richard Goldbart" offering to help release a large amount of money from a UK bank.
The SRA does not regulate anyone with the name "Richard Goldbart" and does not authorise or regulate a genuine firm of solicitors called "Goldbart & Partners (UK) LLP".
