Quest Pharmaceuticals’ Inc Appointment Letter

To:
On behalf of Quest Pharmaceuticals Inc, it is with great pleasure that we offer you the position of a Sales Representative in Quest Pharma Tech Inc, reporting to Management. This appointment is subject to the approval of the Board of Governors and Citizenship and Immigration of Canada. The terms and conditions are as follows:
You will be given a sign-on fee/ signing bonus which is a sum of money paid to new employee as an incentive to join Quest Pharma Tech Inc which is 200% of your monthly salary amounting to 29,000 CAD.
1. Starting Date and Hours of Work: Your start date will be 19th November, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. Your hours of work during the peak season will be 37.5 hours per week. Overtime may be required during exceptionally busy period, paid at a rate of $80 per hour. Our normal working day is 9am to 5:30pm with one hour for lunch, but flexible working hours may be accommodated for breaks and lunch each day.
2. Salary: Your annual salary will be $174,000 CAD [14,500 CAD monthly] after tax, Salary payments will be made to your bank account on a bi-weekly basis (every second Friday) pursuant to our direct payroll deposit plan.
3. Group Benefits: You will be eligible once you have successfully completed your three month probationary period for Quest Pharma Tech Inc benefit plan, which is offered to Quest PharmaTech Inc employees. You will receive an enclosed benefit information booklet for your reference on resumption of duty. Quest Pharma Tech Inc reserves the right to amend or discontinue any of the above-noted benefits at its sole discretion, at any time, and without noticed.
Food, Accommodation, Medical Treatment, Travel & Transport, Holidays and every single thing mentioned and stated in the Contract agreement Letter which you have already signed and accepted remains binding between you and Quest Pharma Tech Inc and need not to be to be emphasized and restated in your Appointment Letter.
We will be requesting you to inform us the size of your family[ should you want to travel with your family] to know the size of apartment to be provided for you and any two International Airports for your ticket booking in the course of processing your travelling documents after the completion of your Visa and Work permit procurement.
Regarding benefits provided by Quest Pharma Tech Inc, below is a precise benefit plan and includes: Social Security Benefit, Unemployment Insurance, Health Care Insurance, Retiree Health Benefits / Retirement Plans/ Employee Health Benefits, Paid Leave, Child Care Benefits, Health And Wellness Program, Paid Sick Leave, Dental Care And Workers Compensation. While unemployment provides help to those that lose their jobs, workers compensation programs provide assistance to those disabled by occupational illness or injury. Social Security protects the aged and disabled against expenses that might otherwise exhaust their entire saving.
4. Probationary Period: Your first three months of employment with Quest Pharma Tech Inc Canada will be considered probationary, with full salary.
5. Vacation: You are entitled to four (4 )Weeks of paid vacation per calendar year, to be taken once yours have been approved by your supervisor. Vacation requests are dealt with at a first come first serve basis therefore Quest Pharma Tech Inc guarantees that you will receive your vacation at your request.
6. Resignation of Employment: You may resign your employment by giving two weeks' written notice to Quest Pharma Tech Inc upon your last day of employment you will be entitled to compensations or payments.
7. Confidentiality/ Non-Disclosure of our company policies within the Employee Handbook, which you will sign, you are to adhere to the Policy of 'Confidential Information and Intellectual Property'. Failure to comply with the policy's procedures may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
8. Code of Conduct: Quest Pharma Tech Inc expects employee to act in a manner that will enhance the company’s reputation for honesty, integrity and responsibly thereby fulfilling our customers interest. To reinforce its continuing drive for the highest standard of integrity, Quest Pharma Tech Inc has developed a Code of Conduct, which is part of the Employee Handbook, to which all company employees are bound. As a condition of employment you are required to agree to fulfill the Code of Conduct by signing the Employee Handbook. Failure to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action.
