From the WhoIs for probitassllp:A member of the public has received a letter from an individual called “George R. Johnson†from “Probitass Solicitors LLP†based in Liverpool. The letter refers to an unclaimed life assurance policy. The letter asks the recipients, who seem to have the same surname as the supposedly deceased policy holder, to make contact to claim under a policy.
The letter seen by the SRA provides a postal address of “Liverpool, Merseyside, L9 1YL United Kingdom†a telephone number of “(44)2038073367â€, a fax number of “+(44) 1235420172†and email addresses of “info@probitassllp/ probitassllp@gmail.comâ€.
The letter also provides a website address of " http://www.probitassllp.com" which is not a website of a legitimate law firm.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm called “Probitass Solicitors LLP†or a barrister called “George R. Johnsonâ€.
