Scam Alert from the Solicitors Regulation Authority website:
The SRA has been informed that a member of the public has received an email claiming to be from “Alan Jones, Board of International Financial Affairs” relating to the setting up of an escrow account in relation to a transaction involving “BCLP Intermediary Limited”.

The email seen by the SRA appears to be sent from “alanjones@bintfa.org”.

The email provides a website of “www.bintfa.org” and a telephone contact number of “1 202 600 8508”.

Any business or transactions through the contact details above are not undertaken by a solicitors’ practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
