The website claims to be for a law firm called “Henry Newport Immigration†with “highly qualified, trained and experienced solicitorsâ€. This website is not a website for a genuine firm of solicitors.
The website provides a postal address of “3-6 Kenrick PI, Marylebone London W1U 6HD a telephone number of “+44-20-7060-1209â€, a fax number of “+44 872 3520726 and an email address of “info@henrynewportimmigration.comâ€.
The website describes “Henry Newport LL.M(UK) LL.B†as the “Principal Solicitorâ€. The SRA does not authorise or regulate a solicitor called “Henry Newportâ€.
The SRA has also been informed that a member of public was informed she had been offered a job in the UK and was asked to liaise with “Henry Newport Immigration†in respect of dealing with the “UK visa and work permit†for the supposed job offer. The SRA understands that various fees were subsequently requested to be paid.
