Scam alert from the Solicitors Regulation Authority:
The SRA has been informed that a member of the public has received an email falsely claiming to be from “Craig Thompson” at Forsters LLP.

The email seen by the SRA states it is sent from “Craig Thompson” from an email address of “craig.thompson@forsterslegal.com”.

The email misuses the name of a genuine solicitor and the name and registered address of a genuine firm of solicitors.

The email provides a mobile telephone number of “+44 770 000 0196” and a fax number of “+44 207 863 8330”

Any business or transactions through the email address “craig.thompson@forsterslegal.com” or the contact numbers above are not undertaken by a solicitor’s practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
