The SRA has been informed that members of the public have received e-mails which claim to be from "Simon Brading" of "Stephenson Harwood LLP". The e-mail seen by the SRA refers to a "Revised Proposal" and has attached to it a document called "Revised Lease Contract". This email is not genuine and there is a concern that the attachment may contain harmful malware if opened.
The email the SRA has seen was sent from the email address doublebright200@gmail.com but we have been advised that other emails may be sent from other gmail addresses.
The email gives the address 1 Finsbury Circus London, Greater London and the telephone number +44 20 7809 2535.
Any business or transactions through the email address doublebright200@gmail.com are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
