The SRA has received information that a member of the public has received an email claiming to relate to an investment opportunity and which falsely claimed to be from Chris Adams of Berwin Leighton Paisner.
The email as seen by the SRA:
was sent from the email address: "chriadas@outlook.com";
provided a telephone number of: + 44 7937 450 259;
provided an address of 3 Lower Thames Street, London, EC3R 6HE;
enclosed a copy of an agreement relating to an investment of funds.
Any business or transactions through the above email addresses or telephone numbers are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
The address above is the genuine address of the head office of Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP.
