4th September 2018 - Lottery Scam

On 4th September 2018, telephone number +447879147897 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Paul Williamson working for Paul Soulsby Law Chambers using email address advocatepaulwilliamson@yahoo.co.uk as part of a Lottery Scam.
A Lottery Scam is a variation of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam. Instead of the victim being offered an inheritance or some other funds by a stranger, they will be told that their email has won an online lottery and to collect their prize they just have to email someone to claim it. Of course, there will be fees that need to be paid, and the prize (usually cash, but sometimes luxury cars as well) doesn't actually exist. These scams often pretend that the lottery is being sposored by a multi-national corportation sch as Ford, BMW, Microsoft or Facebook; although sometimes they claim to actually be a real lottery such as the UK National Lottery. There is no such thing as a lottery that picks random email addresses to win - if you haven't purchased a ticket for a specific lottery then you can't win it.

ATTN: Compliment of the day to you. We still very much remember
rendering service to you some years back and it is shocking that you are yet to
claim your fund. The National Lottery contacted us to stand in as your
representative in setting up an account on your behalf here in London. Hence we
contacted the bank they nominated and kindly find attached the bank`s Account
Application Form, which you will be required to complete and return to us
immediately.
Also, you will be required to apply for online account access through their website
below: https:/ /qnbfinsuk.com/en/apply.php
Please send a scanned copy of your passport copy, ID card or any legally identifying
document through email to us. The bank will send you further correspondence
regarding your account set-up. You should update us and if they require our physical
presence for the account set-up, we shall go there on your behalf.
Meanwhile, endeavour to fill the online form for online banking access by using the
