On 22nd August 2018, telephone number +34653214047 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Ramon Freixa Secada using email address eu.log.tran@consultant.com as part of an Online Selling Scam.
Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
Thank you for writing me back. I have just come home from my vacation. When we buy a car, we are very interested in testing it. In our situation, the services of the company come to our aid. I will explain how the company works with payment and shipping:
As I mentioned in my first email, I'm involved in some projects and need to sell the car. I can sell it for 5000 Eur including transport costs.
First, I (the seller) and you (the buyer) must agree to the start of the transaction. Once this is done, the process will begin and the shipping company will handle everything: shipping, payment, all documents and the sales process.
I will go and leave the car in the company. The company inspects the car, prepares the documents for transport, prepares all necessary documents to transfer the car to your name.
The company will contact you if the shipment starts with a tracking number. With this tracking number, you can check out the status of the transaction online at any time.
The shipping company will send you the shipping instructions. Then you have to deposit the money in the carrier's bank account (where your money stays safe until the end of the transaction).
From the moment you receive the car, you have a 5-day inspection period. In these 5 days, you can decide whether to buy the car or not and inform the company of your decision. In the test phase the money will remain in the forwarding bank account, and will only be transferred to my account if you are happy with the car and buy it. That way, you can test the car before you decide to buy it.
If you are not satisfied with the car, the driver who transports your car will immediately refund your deposit and the car will come back at my expense.
I assure you, the car is perfect, very well maintained. You will be completely satisfied with that, and you will buy it.
