On 31st August 2018, telephone number +32460243490 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Anita Houscarriague using email address anita521hauscarriague@gmail.com as part of a Rental Scam.
Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
I send this email just to thank you for all your interest in renting our apartment and we take you report that we have taken note of your email. Regarding the visit of the apartment we are available every day of the week from 19 hours if it is for you the apartment address with wholes supporting documents because the rent is very urgent for us.
Following the bad experience with dishonest mytho pranksters customers who have moved us to the Island to Belgium for a fake appointment last time my husband and I and our lawyer we hold a meeting to end this shuttle, so we decide before we move now we demand guarantees as what you actually have the money for rent and also for our own safety following a assault reason regarding the filing of a month of bail and the first rent (975) euro will be done by a (postal check) MANDATE call that you will establish the name of my husband for more confidence and following the many scam on the net and keep it for the visit. In case the apartment is not for you after the states of places (plumbing, shower, kitchen, bedroom and living room slept ......... etc) you still will go to the station with the same received the mandate to withdraw your money with your password without paying any fees.
TWO REASONS FOR THIS IMPORTANT TERMS OF REQUIREMENT
1 - After this long road in Belgium for the visit, the guests were not financially suitable and others that no longer responds to our call once instead of appointment
2 - We have already been twice turning victim after returning from a visit to our daughter when she was in Brussels are of 1000 € and 3800 €
