6th October 2018 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 6th October 2018, telephone number +22897609369 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Dr. Binta Ndoye Tour working as Chief Executive Officer for Ora Bank Plc using email address orabankatmdeptm@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

Sequel to the payment instruction from the Organization and your payment
files submitted to us by your representative Mrs. Roselyne Johnson of
Payment office.

ORA Bank is happy to inform you that we have successfully concluded the
processing of your total funds of $800,000.00 via ATM VISA CARD as
approved.

However we have tried to ship your ATM CARD to your home address as
approved but the delivery companies stated that the shipping cost of 158
euros must be paid before they can deliver the parcel to your home address.

ORA Bank pleaded to the courier company to ship the parcel to you so that
you can pay the delivery fee to the company at your home address, but they
all refused.

We have been to 3 different shipping companies but all the companies said
that you should pay the delivery fee before the shipment can be made.

Therefore you are advised to travel to our office here in Togo to collect
your ATM VISA CARD by yourself.

option for you to receive your ATM CARD is via courier delivery.
