9th December 2017 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 9th December 2017, telephone number +201144538951 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Adams Gandy using email address defensecouriers@hotmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.

In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

My Dear Friend

Good morning to you my dear friend, I received your email and i now have the
courage to proceed with you on the deal because you have proof to me your
seriousness and total commitment on the deal by sending me your complete
information details. Just as I have promised that I will send to you an
Approval Letter so that you will be able to rightfully contact the security
company in Egypt for release and delivery of my box to you. I have therefore
attached to this message the Approval Letter.

This Approval Letter gives you full right to receive the box on my behalf. I
have also forwarded a copy of this letter to the company in Egypt, awaiting
you to contact them.

Below is the company contact in Egypt and the officers in charge.
