20th March 2018 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 20th March 2018, telephone number +16317165415 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be John Albert using email address dipomataganet@outlook.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

My Name is Mr John Albert, I have a consignment valued $5.5 Million
Dollars assigned to me to deliver to you by the African Union (A.U)
after the just concluded summit which was held along with the Economic
Community
of West African States (ECOWAS). I am please to inform you that i have
arrived United State with your consignment and currently at Sacramento
International Airport California.

Please forward your address, direct contact number where you can be
reached to enable me complete the delivery as scheduled and go back.
Also reconfirm your full name along with copy of your ID to avoid wrong
delivery.I have other assignment to carry out and i need you to get back
to me immediately in other to make sure that this is completed.
