On 21st January 2019, telephone number +12817862940 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Julia Rendon Reinhart working for Valero Energy Corporation using email address careers@valero-us.com as part of an Employment Scam.
Here is the email that the scammer sent to his victims.
With regards to our global recruitment exercise going on, your Resume/Cv and profile has been reviewed and sent to us by our recruitment coordinator from (oilandgaspeople ) Due to global time difference and engagements, we are unable to conduct our normal telephone interview. We have resolved to On-line Questionnaire/Application interview form to facility the employment procedures. You are expected to complete the form and submit on or before four (4) working days. You are advised to adhere to this instruction to avoid termination of the employment offer as a result of delay.
