On 26th November 2018, telephone number +12126971299 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Port Authority using email address uscustomservicesbureau@gmail.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.

In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

We are very sorry for what ever that you have gone through in the past
and you need to read well and understand it now because your consignment
box is here now and we are ready to deliver the box to you after all our
investigation, the box will be deliver to you as soon as you comply with
us to avoid any more problem in the future.

We respected you and this is to inform you that after our meeting few
days ago we decided to check and confirm the content of the consignment
box During our recent checking at the Airport Storage Vault, we
discovered an abandoned shipment from one Diplomat agent who was
assigned to deliver the consignment box weighing approximately 14.9kg
to your city, the box contain more than $15 Million USA Dollars and the
consignment is still in our Storage House here in Port of John F.
Kennedy
International Airport, New York till today, We found out that the
dollar's is 100 % able and accepted by any country in the whole world.

But due to our law the agent was not allowed to deliver the consignment
box to you without Obtaining the United States certificates to summit to
us, so for that reason everything was kept in our facility custody here
in Port of John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York City USA .

The consignment was abandoned because the Contents of the consignment
box was not properly declared by the consignee as "MONEY" rather it was
declared as Clothes to avoid diversion by the Shipping Agent and also
the inability of the diplomat to pay for the United States certificates
and Charges.
