28th July 2020 - Advance Fee Fraud Scam

On 28th July 2020, telephone number +233540906939 was reported as being used by scammers to pretend to be Dr. Henry Kofi Wampah working for The Bank of Ghana using email address gha-ba@consultant.com as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam.
In Advance Fee Fraud Scams, the scammer will offer you something of high value (a large sum of money or gold for example) and all you have to do is pay a "small" fee. What the scammer is offering you does not actually exist and the scammer will come up with fee after fee that needs to be paid by the victims, until he either runs out of money or realises that he has been scammed. The scammer will often pretend to be real people or companies, use fake websites and introduce various characters, all with the aim of convincing the victim that what is being offered to him is real.

female seeking for a husband, lawyers, bank, security companies, Arm
dealers(Armlisting gunsite) etc and has deem it necessary to
investigate all, which was confirmed to be scam after much
investigations.

We also realize that you have spent so much money try to complete your
transactions, which was confirmed to be scam. We are working very hard
to catch up with these scammers spoiling the good name of our great
country GHANA and any helpful information’s from you will help arrest
these fraud stars will be appreciated. You are therefore advised to
seize all further correspondence with these scam artists because if in
the near future, we discover that you still have any transaction with
any other organizations confirmed by us to be fraud, you will be
