The email seen by the SRA appears to refer to an individual being held in a jail south east of Panama City. It also provides bank details and requests payment of a substantial sum of money for “mobilization and consultations”.

The email seen by the SRA appears to be sent from the email address "marvinrowland@ashfordds.com".

The email also provides refers to a website "Ashfordds.com". This website gives the telephone number "+44 (0)7716102594". It also provides the address, email address and DX address of a genuine firm.

The SRA does not authorise or regulate a genuine solicitor called Marvin Rowland.
