I know what I received via my cell phone today is a scam.
Source phone #: 1-773-536-1317
Recorded message received as a live call; duplicate recorded message received as a voicemail. Both messages contained the same electronically-managed voice-box (robotic in tones and pace). The message: This is {name} from the Internal Revenue Service. You have been identified in violation of IRS tax laws, and are required to contact this office to schedule a formal review. You must call 1-773-536-1336 immediately. Failure to call 1-773-536-1336 within the next 10 minutes will result in ....
and then the (obviously prerecorded) message ended.
