From the WhoIs for amzlawsolicitors.co.uk:The SRA has been informed that documentation regarding bridging finance in the sum of £436,000 has been sent to a law firm, purportedly signed or certified by someone claiming to be a solicitor named "Ali Hussein" and endorsed with a stamp from "AMZ Law Solicitors". The documents seen by the SRA include mortgage documentation, a borrower’s identification documents and a "Solicitors Certificate (for completion by the solicitor advising the borrower)".
The stamp on the documentation seen by the SRA misuses the office address of a genuine firm of solicitors.
The SRA has also seen an email in which "Ali Hussein" forwards copies of the documentation to other parties and misuses the name of a genuine firm of solicitors. "Ali Hussein" provided the following contact details in his email:
