Email: richard@ahpage.org.uk

Scam Type: Phishing or Malware

From the Solicitors Regulation Authority website:
The SRA has been informed that members of the public, including clients of the genuine firm, have received emails falsely claiming to be from Richard Bull of A. H. Page Solicitors. The email seen by the SRA directs the recipient to open an attachment, which appears to relate to a conveyancing matter. A concern is that the attachment may contain malware.

The emails appears to have been sent from A.H. Page, but are sent from the email address "richard@ahpage.org.uk". The SRA are informed that this is not an authentic email address for the genuine firm.

The emails also misuse the genuine address of the genuine firm of solicitors (see below) and provide the telephone number 0208 554 1598 and fax number 0208 554 2801.

Any business or transactions carried out through the email address "richard@ahpage.org.uk" or the telephone and fax numbers above are not undertaken by a genuine solicitor's practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.

Please don't confront scammers or tell them their details are on anti-scam sites. It will take them minutes to set up a new identity and existing warnings will be worthless.
