According to victim, he registers on a site called "meetme." and uses Whatsapp to contact with the victims. He quickly fall in love with the victim, and told her that he is visiting her country and needs her personal information to submit to the embassy he works for. When victim asked why she needs her personal information, then the scammer replied and said that he needs permission from embassy. Also he said he is not allowed to bring along large amount of money with him, so he will need to transfer large amount of money to the victim's bank account. The victim rejected to provide the bank account info. Despite she declined, the US Ministry of Finance sent email to her, with the document scammer wants the victim to fill in. Then the victim found that the Finance officer's email domain was Nigeria. She asked to the scammer why, then fortunately the scammer blocked her.
The Finance officer's email domain registrant is from Nigeria.
