From the WhoIs for haganllp.com:A member of the public has received a letter from "Henry Hagan, Solicitor and Managing Partner" at "Hagan & Co LLP" which uses a genuine firm's postal address, regarding an inheritance from an unknown relative.
The scam letter seen by the SRA is in German and appears to invite the recipient to make contact in respect of claiming the inheritance. The letter gives the following contact details, telephone number +44 787 135 7698, fax number +44 203 862 0763 and email addresses henry.hagan@haganllp.com, haganh51@gmail.com.
The letter also contains the genuine postal address for Harris Hagan LLP which is a genuine firm of solicitors.
The SRA has also received information in relation to a bogus website "www.haganllp.com" which contains contact details for "Hagan & Co LLP" and includes the branch office address Temple Court, 13A Cathedral Road, Cardiff. This address is used by a number of genuine solicitors.
The SRA did regulate and authorise a firm called "Hagan & Co LLP" which closed in 2005. The SRA does not authorise or regulate an individual by the name "Henry Hagan".
Any business or transactions through "Hagan & Co LLP" or an individual called "Henry Hagan" through the contact details and website shown above are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
