Scam Type: Phising or Malware

The SRA has seen an email, sent from a "gmail" email account, that falsely claims to be from Sarah Trickey of KWW Solicitors. The e-mail seen by the SRA refers to contract documentation, supposedly in relation to the sale of a property.
The email contains the genuine contact address for the genuine firm KWW Solicitors and the telephone number 0208 978 1131 which is not the genuine number for the firm. The email seen by the SRA was sent from the email address "hans.junianto@gmail.com."
Any business or transactions through the email address "hans.junianto@gmail.com" or telephone number "0208 978 1131" are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
