The SRA have received a report that a member of the public has received an email enclosing immigration documents claiming to be from a Mr Clive Henry of CHS Clive Henry Solicitors.

The email seen by the SRA includes an attachment for a UK work permit application. The recipient of the email is asked to complete and return the UK work permit application and also provide a copy of their signed job contract, scanned copy of valid travel document and a passport sized photo.

The email was sent in the name of "Mr Clive Henry, Principal Solicitor, Clive Henry Solicitors". The email was sent from the email address info@chs-london.com and gave the telephone number of "+44 741 846 6633".

The SRA understands that there is a website for "Clive Henry Solicitors" (www.chs-london.com), in which it also uses the name of "CHS Solicitors". The website states that "Clive Henry Solicitors are a specialist Immigration Law Firm based in Hulme, Manchester." but also gives the address Gough Square London, EC41 3DE United Kingdom, together with the telephone number of "+44 741846 6633" and email address info@chs-london.com

The SRA does not authorise or regulate any genuine firms by the name of Clive Henry Solicitors or CHS Solicitors, nor does it authorise or regulate any genuine individual by the name of Clive Henry.
