From the WhoIs for richardmoonuk.com:The SRA has been informed that a website "www.richardmoonuk.com" is operating.
The website claims to be for a law firm called "Richard Moon & Associates". This website is not a website for a genuine firm of solicitors. The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm of solicitors called "Richard Moon & Associates".
The website provides an address of "Brooks Building, 122 Cannon St, London EC4N 6AF", telephone numbers of "+44 2 038 076 068" and "+44 2 039 668 444" and an email address of "info@richardmoonuk".
The SRA has also been informed that a letter sent by fax has been sent to a member of the public, claiming to be from "Richard Moon & Associates". The letter relates to pursuing compensation from a purportedly unclaimed "permanent life insurance policy", with the recipient of the letter understood to have the same last name as a supposedly deceased client.
The letter appears to have been sent by "Richard W Moon", claiming to be "Principal Solicitor" of "Richard Moon & Associates Chambers".
The letter provides some of the same contact details as the website referred to above, plus a further telephone contact number of "+447978271652" and email addresses of "richardmoon@richardmoonuk.com", "richardmoonesq@post.com" and "richardmoonesq@gmail.com".
Any business or transactions through "Richard Moon & Associates", or through the website or contact details set out above, is not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
