The website claims to be for a law firm called "James Burkett Solicitor". This website is not a website for a genuine firm of solicitors.
The website provides a telephone number of "+442035144695", a fax number of "+442033573228" and email addresses of "info@jamesburkettsolicitors.com" and "info@jeblaw.co.uk".
The website misuses the name, genuine SRA identification number and registered postal address of a genuine firm of solicitors and the names of two genuine solicitors.
The SRA has also been informed that several members of the public have received a letter sent by fax by an individual called "James Burkett" claiming to be a Principal Attorney at "James Burkett Solicitor" for a supposedly unclaimed inheritance of an unknown individual. The name of the deceased is tailored to match the recipient.
The letter provides a further telephone number of "44 203 357 3228" and another email address of "j.burkett@jamesburkettsolicitors.com".
Any business or transactions through the website or the contact details set out above are not undertaken by a solicitor's firm authorised and regulated by the SRA.
